In seven days I’m off to South America. The challenge to experience travel and culture through local music and write about it. To broaden horizons, leave the day to day and hopefully sing some jazz along the way. Yes I do sing!
This presents some immediate issues. Problem 1 – I absolutely hate flying. Problem 2 – it is 38 degrees in Rio. Problem 3 – I am about to spend 102 consecutive days with one other person (i.e my husband)
Problem 1 can usually be tackled with experience. An isle seat, a good playlist and some meditations to overcome claustrophobia and panic attacks. Problem 2 perhaps a factor 50 onesie? Problem 3 ask me when I get back…
