Ushuaia: Sounds of the Seabirds

Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world and gateway to Antarctica. A boat trip on the Beagle Channel was accompanied by a seabird soundtrack from nature. The deepest parts of the channel provide the border between Chile to the south and Argentina to the north. A water divide also between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Wind blows through the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Trees creak and sway. Otherwise utter silence.

The main street provided street musicians drumming and playing guitars. If you like king crab then you are in for a treat. Very tasty!

Next stop El Calafate…
